If you removed the differential yourself, why not put it posted by TheTwinZ (Peru) on February 06, 2007 at 11:20 AM |

the differential back in since I already removed it myself (it was VERY simple but, you should have a lift to do it.) The thing is that I figured while I already have the diff out I should just go ahead and rebuild the whole thing. The $325 the shop quoted me was to ONLY install the ring and pinion. Now they want to charge me extra for bearings, seals, etc... I just wanted to get an idea of what kind of money I should be looking at so they don't screw me over. The gears in my Z have been installed for a few months. But I got a friend to do it for me. Now, I'm working on my GF's TT and I don't want to get taken for a ride. - Alex
